Liam is a Producer, DJ and Radio Presenter based in Surrey & London. His notable work includes Kane FM where he has presented as DJ Next State, a pen name he uses to promote himself as a DJ and Electronic producer building his industry reputation. Liam produces and plays Commercial House, EDM, Dance Music, House, Tech House, Techno, Hip Hop, Garage, DnB, Electronic Music, Commercial and Pop - holding a 1st Class BA Honours in Electronic Music Production from the ACM in Guildford. Prior to this Liam studied in Brighton gaining a BTEC National Distinction in Music Production and is an Ableton and Logic X user.
Liam works in and around the Guildford area and has played in clubs and local bars with over 10 years of experience behind the decks, giving him a wealth of knowledge as a House & specialist DJ. Liam’s love of electronic music stems from his extensive time living in and touring the Spanish Islands - particularly House music in Ibiza.
Liam states, ‘I am always striving to find a position I can add value and bring something to the table. Being educated in the field of production I have a great understanding of studio workflow - the booking process of artists and studio time. Having producing myself in studios and with a working knowledge of such studios as Metropolis, I have valuable insight into studio operation and project production. Having taken part in a weekly Saturday night show on Kane FM, I understand about broadcasting live shows and interacting with the public over live chat and video streams. When I read through the NEM vision and achievements and it was great to associate with the NEM passion and quality which this business offers its clients across many different aspects of entertainment and business. I am delighted to join the NEM team.’
