Marcel van Limbeek

Marcel has had a remarkable career, touring with Johnny Cash, Nanci Griffith, The Temptations, Big Country, Beautiful South, Terrorvision, David Arnold and working for Tori Amos consistently over a decade, engineering several of her Platinum selling albums in the 90’s and 00’s, along with many other albums besides. Marcel hails from Holland and has toured the world extensively, equally expert in live sound and setup and studio recording at the very highest international level. Marcel has built up a bewildering array of the very finest studio equipment, this can be operated out of NEM’s Guildford studio by appointment, and includes:

Marcel is known for backing and supporting emerging talent and prides himself on seeking the best musicianship and potential, regardless of circumstances and financial interest / backing. Marcel is senior manager at Britannia Row Productions in Twickenham which is responsible for the vast majority of major live events throughout the world. Britannia runs all live sound for the likes of Paul McCartney, Robbie Williams, Elton John and the illustrious list goes on, in the largest indoor, outdoor venues and festivals in the world.

Marcel is currently working on a high-level NEM production project with one of the most talented artists we have ever encountered. The work he is doing is truly game-changing this project. Marcel specialises in; successful audio production for global launch at the very highest quality levels and commercial purposes, live set-up, touring and logistics, studio pre-production, tracking, post-production, Mastering and general wide-ranging music industry knowledge at the very highest levels including studio set-up, optimal studio function and studio networking, both physical, technical and vocational/cross organisation.
