Ollie Melville-Smith

Ollie has been a lead a composer and producer at Wise Buddah Jingles & Music Imaging and No Sheet Music for over 12 years. He graduated from the prestigious "Tönmeister" Music & Sound Recording course at the University of Surrey in 2002 and brings a wealth of first-rate and relevant experience to the NEM project and the Founder Member team.

Before becoming a full-time composer/music producer in 2012, Ollie worked as a radio programme producer for Classic FM and also freelance for the Smooth Radio Network where he made shows for Myleene Klass, Aled Jones, Katie Derham, Mark Goodier, Nicholas Owe, John Suchet and many others.

During his time with Wise Buddah Jingles & Music Imaging he has rebranded many radio stations both in the UK and abroad, including:

BBC Radio 2 (full station package), BBC Radio 1 (breakfast theme and various production beds), BBC Asian Network (full station package), BBC Radio Cymru (full station package), BBC Radio Ulster (full station package)Free Radio (full station package), NPO Radio 2 (national Netherlands full station package), NPO Radio 5 (national Netherlands full station package), Radio 538 (national Netherlands full station package), Virgin Radio (national Canadian network full station package), Kiss FM (national Spanish station full package), NRK P3 (Norwegian national station full package).

Ollie is a gigging band-member as a bassist and was one of the first musicians to visit the completed Wildwood Studio and was a band-member of the inaugural first jam along with Sam Critchlow (see session pianists) and Oliver Hall (owner).
